Rituals galore in my religion
Attendance of people for gathering in harmony
Best wishes to the married couple
And a life full of plenty

I choose on this day to avoid
A gathering of souls who participated
In the most inhuman ways to deprive me of love
Persistent in their ambitions; only a legal wedding

Post a future marriage
There will be no more work assigned
To my then beloved
By participants of this crime

My fight now is against injustice
A source of strength that does not wander
Participants will be brought to light
If wisdom prevails over the night

There will be no return to normal relations
Among former friends, family or others
Doom has been unleashed upon my life
Fighting till the end is my way forward in life

Bodies I will get checked
In countries friendly to security
Of spirit, and rights of man
Freedom from intrusion into the mind for all time

Life may yet give me opportunity
To protect brain waves from escaping to infinity
Shelters I must build to survive
The gnawing teeth of a disrespectful society.
